Bangladesh Embassy Launches Card Payment System for Consular Service

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Bangkok launched card payment system to receive consular fees from the visa/passport applicants. H.E. Md. Nazmul Quaunine, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand inaugurated the service through a simple ceremony today at the Embassy premises. 

During the inauguration Thai national, Mr. Varatthpol Sangthing and Bangladesh national Mr. Mizanur Rahman paid their visa/passport fees through their bank cards. “We welcome this initiative of the Embassy as we will be able to pay consular fees conveniently by bank cards” – said a visa applicant. Krungthai Bank (KTB) and Krungthai Card PLC (KTC) are supporting the Embassy for the payment services. Minister Consular of the Embassy Mr. Mohammad Quamrul Hasan, Deputy Manager of KTB Mr. Suwit Traithep, Senior Officers of KTC Ms. Suphatta Phakdibodee and Ms. Prisa Dechatammatorn and other officials of the Embassy were present on the occasion.
